How is Laser Eye Treatment Performed?

Today, the most widely used methods worldwide for the treatment of refractive errors are Femto Lasik, LASIK, Wavefront, and, if the cornea is thin, PRK, newly named Notouch. How Does This Operation Happen?

The operation is performed on two eyes on different days. A few days or 1 week is given between the two eyes, depending on the patient's conditions. The procedure takes approximately 10 minutes for each eye. The eyes are anesthetized with eye drops. General anesthesia (except in special cases), fainting, or staying in the hospital overnight is not required. It is a painless operation. After the surgery, the eye is covered with a bandage, the patient goes home, the eye remains covered with the bandage that night, and the bandage is opened by the doctor during the check-up the next day. The patient begins to see the same day and returns to normal life.
