Information Text on the Protection and Processing of Personal Data

The Protection of Personal Data is among Sinan Göker Göz Grup's priorities. The necessary sensitivity is shown regarding the security of personal data, and great importance is attached to the best and careful processing and preservation of patient privacy and all kinds of personal data belonging to our patients. Our patients, attendants and visitors, all our employees, and the employees of institutions and organizations we cooperate with; can be processed in accordance with the Law on the Protection of Personal Data No. 6698 and the Basic Law on Health Services No. 3359, the Outpatient Diagnosis and Treatment Regulation and the regulations of the Ministry of Health, and other legislation. Protecting Personal Data in accordance with the regulation on the Processing of Personal Health Data and Ensuring its Privacy and related legislation, within the framework of the following basic principles, has been adopted as a corporate policy.

Processing personal data in accordance with the law and rules of honesty,
Keeping personal data accurate and up-to-date when necessary,
Processing personal data for specified, clear and legitimate purposes,
Processing personal data in a connected, limited and measured manner with the purpose for which they are processed,
Storing personal data for the period stipulated in the relevant legislation or necessary for the purpose for which they are processed,
Informing and enlightening personal data owners,
Establishing the necessary system for personal data owners to exercise their rights,
Taking the necessary measures in the preservation of personal data,
Acting in accordance with the relevant legislation and the KVK Board regulations in transferring personal data to third parties in line with the requirements of the processing purpose,
Showing the necessary sensitivity in the processing and protection of special categories of personal data,
Deleting and destroying personal data in accordance with the law in the defined form and time.

1. Obtaining, Processing, and Processing Purposes of Personal Data

Your personal data is obtained through verbal, written, visual, or electronic media, call center, website, verbal, written, and similar channels, in a way that is appropriate to the fields of activity of medical practice, medical diagnosis, and treatment services provided by us. Your special categories of personal data, especially your health data, and your general categories of personal data, including but not limited to the following, may be processed by us in a connected, limited, and measured manner with the purposes stated in this article:

Your Identity Information: Your name, surname, T.R. Identity number, passport data, Identity Number or temporary T.R. Identity number, place and date of birth, marital status, gender, insurance or patient protocol number, and other identity data that may identify you.
Your Contact Information: Your address, telephone number, e-mail address and other contact data, voice call recordings kept by customer representatives or patient services in accordance with call center standards, and your personal data obtained when you contact us via e-mail, letter or other means.
Your Health Information: All kinds of health-related personal data obtained during or as a result of the execution of medical diagnosis, treatment and care services, including but not limited to your diagnosis and examination results, examination data, appointment information, check-up information, and prescription information.
Your Private Health Insurance: Data regarding your relationship and Social Security Institution data.
Your Accounting Information: Your financial data such as your bank account number, IBAN number, credit card information, and billing information.
Job application: In case you apply, all kinds of personal data regarding your service contract and suitability for the job, including your resume obtained in this regard, if you are an employee of Sinan Göker Göz Grup or an affiliated employee.
Your camera recordings kept for security and auditing purposes when you visit our medical centers.
Your vehicle license plate data if you use the parking lot.

All kinds of personal data obtained by Sinan Göker Göz Grup Company (including but not limited to special categories of personal data) may be processed for the following purposes:

Confirming your identity,
Protecting public health, conducting medical diagnosis and treatment services,
Sharing the requested information with the Ministry of Health and other public institutions and organizations in accordance with the relevant legislation.
Planning and managing the internal functioning and daily operations of our Medical Centers.
Measuring, increasing and researching patient satisfaction by the Management, Patient Rights, and Patient Experience departments of our Medical Centers.
To be able to inform you about the appointment if you make an appointment.
Performing risk management and quality improvement activities.
Analyzing to improve health services.
Sharing the information requested by private insurance companies within the scope of financing your health services, examination, diagnosis and treatment expenses, and eligibility inquiry by the Patient Services, Financial Affairs, and Marketing departments.
Conducting research.
Fulfilling legal and regulatory requirements.
Sharing the information requested by private insurance companies within the scope of financing health services.
Performing risk management and quality improvement activities by the Quality, Patient Experience, and Information Systems departments.
Billing for our services and confirming your relationship with contracted institutions by Patient Services, Financial Affairs, and Marketing departments.
Participation in campaigns and providing campaign information by the Marketing, Media and Communication, and Call Center departments, and designing and delivering special content and tangible and intangible benefits on web and mobile channels.
Your Personal Data obtained and processed in accordance with the relevant legislation may be transferred to the physical archives and/or information systems belonging to Sinan Göker Göz Sinan Göker Göz Grup Company and kept under protection both in digital and physical environments.

 2. Transfer of Personal Data
Your personal data may be shared by Sinan Göker Göz Grup Company with private insurance companies, the Ministry of Health and its affiliated sub-units, the Social Security Institution, the General Directorate of Security and other law enforcement forces, the General Directorate of Population, the Turkish Pharmacists Association, Courts and all kinds of judicial authorities, central and other third parties, your authorized representatives, lawyers, tax and financial advisors and auditors, including third parties from whom we receive consultancy, regulatory and supervisory institutions, official authorities, business partners we cooperate with to improve or carry out health services for the above-mentioned purposes, and other third parties within the scope of the Law and other legislation and for the above-mentioned purposes.

3. Method and Legal Reason for Obtaining Personal Data
Your personal data is collected and processed in all kinds of verbal, written, visual or electronic media, for the purposes mentioned above and for the execution of all kinds of works included in the field of activity of our Medical Center within the legal framework, and in this context, in order for Sinan Göker Göz Grup Company to fully and duly fulfill its contractual and legal obligations. The legal reason for collecting your personal data is;

Regulation on the Processing and Protection of Privacy of Personal Health Data,

In addition, as stated in the 3rd paragraph of Article 6 of the Law, health and personal data can only be processed without seeking the explicit consent of the person concerned by persons or authorized institutions and organizations under the obligation of confidentiality for the purpose of protecting public health, preventive medicine, medical diagnosis, and treatment services.

4. Your Rights Regarding the Protection of Personal Data
In accordance with the Law and related legislation;
Learning whether personal data is processed,
Requesting information if personal data has been processed,
Accessing personal health data and requesting this data,
Learning the purpose of processing personal data and whether they are used in accordance with their purpose,
Knowing the third parties to whom personal data is transferred domestically or abroad,
Requesting correction of personal data in case of incomplete or incorrect processing,
Requesting the deletion or destruction of personal data,
Requesting notification to third parties to whom personal data has been transferred regarding the correction of personal data in case of incomplete or incorrect processing and/or the deletion or destruction of personal data,
You have the right to object to the emergence of a result against the person himself/herself by analyzing the processed data exclusively through automated systems.
If you exercise one or more of your aforementioned rights, the relevant information will be notified to you in writing or electronically, in a clear and understandable manner, through the contact information you provide.

5. Data Security
Sinan Göker Göz Grup Company protects your personal data with full compliance with all technical and administrative security controls that must be taken in accordance with information security standards and procedures. Said security measures are provided at a level appropriate to the possible risk, taking into account technological possibilities.

Your personal data is meticulously protected within the scope of technical and administrative facilities, and the necessary security measures are provided at a level appropriate to possible risks, taking into account technological possibilities.
