CHILD AND EYE. Exam starts at birth. Routine: 3 years, but 1 year is better. Signs: Cannot follow light/objects, redness, shaking eyes, white pupil, head tilt. Risk factors: Family history. Amblyopia (Lazy Eye): Reduced vision due to lack of stimulation. Causes: Strabismus, Cataract, Refractive errors (Anisometropia). Development of vision completes by 9-10. Treatment: 1. Patching. 2. Smart Glasses. 3. AmbPiNet (Computer program). 4. Neurovision. 5. Virtual Reality Therapy (New!).
